an oldie but a goodie

The topic of how to track Trevy's seizures came up during today's meeting, which in turn jiggled free a website lodged in the recesses of my memory.

A wonderful tool that I never used...

because...

well...

because it was just too dang hard to tally each seizure. And back when I first found them the tools they offered were very limited. But I revisited the site today...and to my pleasant surprise they've updated everything! Including now having an Infantile Spasms specific log...which is just amazing.

Go check it out here and see for yourself!

Thank you Seizure Tracker for the wonderful FREE service you're providing families living with epilepsy!

Not sure how much thought the Seizure Tracker people put into the IS form....it shows Alcohol or Drug Use as a possible trigger. Since the vast majority of IS kids are under 2 years of age I'm fairly certain alcohol and drugs are probably not involved. I am also guessing that at 2 there aren't too many Hormonal Changes going on.

The family who developed this has a son w/ TSC and epilepsy. What an amazing resource. There is an amazing video on youtube called "Tracking Evan", It is about developing the site, and ends w/ him having brain surgery. You'll love it. :)
