trim the tree (a picture marathon)

Even though it's blurry... I think Trevy's face gives you a pretty good idea how he felt about breaking out the Christmas gear! As does the pool of drool on running down his shirt! Toby...on the other hand...preferred hiding and popping the bubble wrap And here we have Santa's little helper... I manned the camera...in between wrestling fitfulls of ornaments away from Trevy's drooly munchers! Toby eventually found the Christmas spirit! While I think Bristel may quite possibly BE the Christmas spirit! Boo! This picture below... cracks me up! It looks like Trevy is sizing up Frosty... Sometimes even Jonathan gets sappy sentimental. Going through ornaments is one of those sometimes... Tah Dah! I give you... The Foltzie Family Tree! You'll notice the ornaments are heavy above Trevy reach! Oh...and did I ever tell you that I always wanted Christmas wedding? Or that I got it... 10 years ago (on the 21st) actually...

we survived (a picture marathon and a bit more)

None of this seizure business is cake. But somehow having Jonathan by my side has always made it easier. Not having him by my side was horrible ! But no worries...I've complained enough about it to feel better. A smidge . I'm running an experiment to see just how much my complaining earns me. It was pizza for dinner last night! ::smile:: The hook-up (that's when the technicians paste the leads all over his head) is always a tuffy to endure. I can't even imagine how scary it must feel. To have strangers yanking and tugging and rubbing and pasting circles with long wires to your head. Connected to a contraption that'll be shoved in a backpack and lugged around by you. All while being held down by your protector...mommy! Trevy has never been an easy distraction. The louder we'd sing his favorite songs...the more ear piercing the screams. This EEG was slightly different though. No...he didn't sing Twinkle Twinkle with me... Buuuuuut ... Crocodile tears st...

random-nings...you know, just for funsies

This...my friends...is our Chewy Basket! In it you will find teethers of all shapes...prices...and sizes! And when we catch a particular youngster chewing on something he shouldn't... We order him to the Chewy Basket. And sweet glory ... HE GOES! ********** We've cracked down on the kids and the chores thing. Bristel mans the dusting. Toby the vaccuming. Which is what led to... Toby stumbling down the stairs. Lugging the vaccum behind him. "Hey, Mom?" pants he. "Mmm hmm" hums me. "This baby" pat pat patting the red canister "did some work!" ********** Toby has a habit of helping himself to whatever looks yummy in the fridge. I don't mind, really. He's always been a grazer. So it saves me time & energy that he's learned how to take care of it on his own! The thing is...I'm always finding half open containers with finger marks in the contents as evidence. Kinda drives me nuts-o! Which is why I hollared from the kitch...

Picnik! Before... And after!

what's going on here?

I thought it would be "funsie" to play a little game with this picture sequence. I thought it was funny enough to grab my camera and snap a few shots... Soooooo...any guesses? Leave em' in the comments...

I saw what I saw

Hmmmmm... Sooooo... I've heard through the grapevine today that I haven't been posting enough. Which is taboo if one aspires to be a BlogStar. It's, like, blogging 101. Keep it short. And keep it often. Lucky me. I have no desire to achieve BlogStar status! I is what I is. And these days that is... EXHAUSTED! And trying really...really...really...really...hard. To find my balance again. I actually found the time to exercise once this week! Which is not even close to often enough. But still. Its something! I was going for twice this week. Buuuuut... that was thrown off when Dr. Neuro ordered a 48 hour EEG. ASAP. Because Trevor had two seizures. Not big bad scary seizures. Nope. More heart shattering than that. His seizure looked like the ghost of what we thought we left in a Detroit path lab...coming back to haunt us. Yes. I saw a spasm. A spasm. Not a cluster of spasm s . Which is positive. Except my heart wasn't prepared to see that again. After so long. When I saw h...

long overdue (a picture marathon)

My attempt at a Christmas Card snapshot... Hey now...stop that laughing! I'd like to see your best attempt at getting the three of them in the same frame! His attempt at looking imp-ish... Trevy's French Kiss... Bristel signing "stop"... ...she wasn't diggin' mommy and the camera. Toby has a sudden obsessive interest in birds... In a rare moment...Toby let me photo shoot him... I especially love the above! No worries, Katy. More to come later... ::smile::
