song that...

melted my soul...and spoke to so many of the emotions that have overwhelmed me recently.

In the time since Trevor's relapse...it seems like sadness has just been freely flowing through not just our lives but the lives of those around us.

I reconnected with a really special girl-friend...and my heart broke in two as she shared the loss of her newborn son with me.

A family from our church unexpectedly lost their father...

A girl that I grew up with found that there are complications with her current pregnancy...and the doctors cannot promise her the beautiful outcome mommies-to-be dream of.

A very close friend's marraige is struggling...

Trevy's girlfriend...who celebrated siezure freedom alongside him for so long...now too is battling IS again.

So much sadness...

I'm not a candy-coater. When my heart is aching...I spill it out for the world to see. That's how I am...who I am. And recently...it's been aching. Deeply...

So on Sunday...while Grams' was caring for the kiddos so Jonathan & I could go out alone...when this song played on the radio my soul melted. And found a little bit of comfort...

I know! WTH? I thought it was just us, but it seems like everyone is getting flogged with the negativity monster.

What a pretty song ;) Trevy's GF is doing fine. I guess it's time to do an update again.

Let's pray hard for some positive vibes. Things are going to turn around. The sun will come out tomorrow...

Thanks for sharing the song. It's lovely. Music is always so touching.
My husband and I have had this conversation lots lately...most people that we know are going through such heavy, heartbreaking things. Love broken, lost, cancer, unknown illnesses, separtaion/divorce, loss,....so much. It's bizarre. Is it because we're getting "older" and know more? Is it just life. This is what happens in grown-up life? I don't know.
My sister-in -law and a friend keep saying "God doesn't give more than you can handle" and "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger".
I don't know.
I do know that friends, even blogging ones, bring hope and solace. So, here's some hope & solace for you! Some good thoughts sent your way.
hugs,
M
