I saw three ships come sailing in...

...to New York City!

And one of them was MINE!

Yep...our container (which btw is about as big as a good sized moving truck...because that's what it takes to store our life's collection of stuff) has arrived in port!

We know with-out-a-doubt that our memories will be getting tossed into a rented storage facility sometime next week! Because it has five days to clear customs. Whoo hoo!

and the bonus news?

J found a decent job in the area. Sooooo...we can actually start house hunting in the near future.

Maybe we'll buy our first house for Christmas?

Weeeeell...

It's with a little local software company. It's entry level right now...but they are going to groom J to be assistant manager in about a year...when they'll move into a bigger facility. It's not a ton of $$ right now...but he does have 10 paid holidays & vay-kay days! And full benies...although we're pretty comfortable using State ins right now. They've been approving everything Trevy needs...and the thought of having to fight again isn't nice. :o)

Anyway...that's the scoop!

Congrats on the job. Local is a plus especially w/ gas. I'm really happy for you guys. Looking for a house is, really, such a fun, exciting time (but can be stressfull too)!

We have a great agent 4 South County! *LOL*
