just because I laugh

Doesn't mean it's funny!

I tried explaining to Toby...

between gasps for air...

while clutching my side...

and attempting to regain my composure.

I had accidentally caught him mid-stream (yes it means what you think it means!). Right outside the kitchen door. For all of the world to see!!!!

Made for interesting dinner conversation later that evening too.

Jonathan initially took my side. Although the smirk was noticeable! And he proceeded to give Tobin scenarios in which it would be okay to empty one's bladder in the out-of-doors world!

My mortified face was rewarded with laughter & additional places where it would be appropriate. Like out on a nature hike for instance... What??? I doubt I'll ever be able to appreciate walks through bathroom-less woods again!

Life with boys...

::sigh::

That is hilarious!!!! I think it's a rite of passage that all little boys :ahem: relieve themselves outside. Your little monkeys are such spitfires...I love it!!!

This is where I divulge my dirty little secret. When we are swimming, I let Connor pee outside, for two reasons. One, the kid has a bladder the size of a pea. And I am NOT exagerating. When he swims it becomes even smaller. Two, all the traipsing in the house means I'd have to leave the other two alone, and I can't.

I have tried to encourage him to go behind the deck where neighbors won't see him, but at Austin's b-day party he dropped trough right in the middle of the lawn! Oh man, NOT funny!

lol...thanks for the early morning laugh...I sure needed it!

I think all boys go through this stage at some point....some just never grow out of it! lol

yeah, i can't tell u how many times i've turned around to see jaden peeing on some random park tree - acting like it's no big deal! and then my niece really had us all rolling laughing once....at jaden's 3rd bday party (she's only 2 months younger than him), all the kids were outside in swimsuits, having water play/baby pool/sprinklers/etc....i look over & deandra has her bathing suit around her ankles & she's squatting/peeing right in the middle of my parent's yard! in front of the entire party! ~lol~ gotta love em!

Oh gosh, I think this is what I have to look forward to in the years to come! Seriously, I'm glad to hear you are laughing, even if it's NOT funny ; )

I know a little about boys, because I am surrounded by testosterone in this house! Peeing outside is what they do best. Might not be in the most appropriate places (LOL)!

Thanks for your post on Charlie's page. I have followed Trevor very closely since Charlie's diagnosis. I pray for you guys and all of these kids fighting this very frustrating form of epilepsy. I want a crystal ball to see what the future holds for Charlie, but I guess I have to let life unfold on its own. I am such an impatient person!:)

Take care

My kids certainly keep me laughing! I'm so glad laughter is an everyday part of our lives! Even Trevy laughs randomly. And sometimes on que with what could be considered a developing personality!
