The constant...
every other month...
persistant...
stinkin'...
ear infections!
That's right. Trevor has yet another ear infection. I think that makes 10 since last November? Almost one a month! But I am hoping this explains why we've seen such an increase in seizures. The worst part is...because he has tubes they won't just give him an oral antibiotic. Noooooooo...we have to waste 48 hours trying the ear drop method. Which has never worked for Trevor. Ugh!
So wish us luck in the sleep depot tonight!
Cause the night wakings of a seizure ridden kid...
...are nothing compared to that of an ear infected kid!

Don't you just feel like saying to the World..."WhatwhatWHATWHATWHAAAAAATTTTTTTT!!??? Stop already!"
Not everyone is a believer...but have you considered stopping dairy and trying a pediatric chiropractor? This was a Godsend for our W as he was having recurrent ear infections and once we stopped dairy and had the chiro visits once a week for about about a month, they were cleared up and he hasn't had one for months now. I think our chiro's website has info about it www.drformoms.ca
It's worth considering or checking into. Not everyone believes in chiro for kids but it has made such a big difference for ours. They've been going since birth.
Hope your little monkey has some relief tonight and you all get some sleep!
Bless your heart! Hopefully that is why his seizures have been so rotten lately. I wished I lived closer too...I'd take the 3am shift when Connor normally wakes up and wanders into our room or plays in the living room in the dark. hang in there! Feel better soon trevy!!
WTH? Is it just me, or does it seem like there has been a dark cloud hovering? Maybe these tough times will make us appreciate and enjoy the upcoming holidays more. Hang in there sweetie! We love ya.
I would look in to the diet, as M said. There are a lot of options for replacing dairy. We have Javi on the GFCF for diff reasons, but have noticed a huge change in him. He's also having less intestinal issues. It's also not as hard as we thought it would be. Just takes more planning.

Get some rest!
Hugs, Shanna
I hope you all survived the night!
have fun trick or treating tonight!
Aw poor Trevy!! I can sympathize. I had ear infection upon ear infection upon ear infection when I was his age. I had tubes put in my ears also and I know they are definitely no picnic. I can't remember how old I was when they were removed...but the good news is, well for me it was, that after they were removed, I NEVER HAD ANOTHER EAR INFECTION IN MY LIFE!!! (knocks on wood cuz I know I'll just jinx myself now) :)
Hope Trevy feels 110% better soon and that you get some rest!!! {HUGS}
oh and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Put some cottonballs in his ears when he goes trick or treating tonight!!! Will keep the chill out!
