Grams

My mom called me this morning. She wanted me to know that my grandmother (her mom) is very sick.

She had a heart-attack recently. And has since struggled with fluid build-up around her heart.

It's serious. To the point that Grams is making the trip to Buffalo solo.

If you're the praying type...I'd appreciate any prayers you can lift on our behalf. For safety. Health. And most of all Grace & Peace.

Dear Grandma...

I wish I could be with mom. To hug you. And give you flowers. Or a balloon.

I know you understand why I can't right now.

I've wanted to say thank you for a long time now. It means the world to me that you follow Trevy's blog. And pray faithfully for him. For us. Thank you, Grandma...

Now it's my turn to pray...for you.

Much love...

Mom...

I wish I could be with you. Be safe. Call often. We already miss you...and not just because you're our go-to sitter either! And remember that I love you!

Strangers to your family, even those who don't pray by nature, have your Gram and your family in thought and prayer. God bless her to comfort her and give her a speedy recovery. God bless you for what you contribute to your loved ones and the world. That is not like me to feel or share...

Oh D, so sorry to hear that you Gram is having difficulties. I'll most certainly keep her in my prayers. Sending lots of love and hugs to you. I know how it is not being able to be with a parent when they need you. Be strong sweetie.

Thanks everybody...it means so much that you guys are here with me. Even cyber support is powerful!

And especially to MB...thank you...it moved my heart that you were touched by Trevy's story...and our's. It does my heart good to hear every now & then of someone being captured by our journey...and moved to feel...

Your grandmom is certainly in my prayers, as is your whole family...

I didn't get to spend the time I wanted (or needed) with one of my grandmothers as her health began to fail...She lived hours and hours away as well...But she always understood...She would say, "Well, that's OK...You just stay there and take care of Colby."

She always talked about his beautiful eyebrows....Grandmothers are wonderful....

Blessings...
