tebow lovers live here

**warning – content may be offensive to Tebow haters**

**double warning – this post has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with catastrophic epilepsy. Unless of course, you count all the “Tebowing” we’ve done over Trevy.  All our kids actually. Or the fact that Trevy looks stinkin’ cute in the prayer warrior pose In love **

christmas break and tebowing 010

My men-folk love sports.  Even Trevy.  In fact, he’s been wearing his Special Olympics medal around the house lately.  Maybe hinting that he’s ready for our Winter Season to get on with it already!  Bristel’s the only hold out.  In fact, she told me the other day that she’s going to marry for love.  Because if he loves her…he won’t watch sports.  lol  I didn’t have the heart to tell her…if she loves him…she’ll learn to enjoy them.

Toby is an all around athlete.  He’s not a super star at any one sport…but solid in all of them.  He has played for more than one of our community’s All Star teams.  I’m saving the shirts to make a quilt someday.

He’s actually sitting behind me right now playing something or other sporty on the x-box.

He’s a sports addict.

And a Tim Tebow fan extraordinaire.

And so am I.  Because, really, what mommy doesn’t love a handsome wholesome super hero athlete for her boys?  More than ever our boys need strong men of integrity to look up to.  Sure he has his daddy.  And a couple other dads we know.  But let’s face it, guys.  You’re just not as cool as Tebow. Winking smile   And I’ll just go ahead and admit that I’m a sucker for Tim Tebow too.  If there’s a fan club…sign me up!  I already “liked” him on FB.  Hung his poster in Toby’s room.  And am fully intending to buy a certain somebody’s Bronco’s jersey for a certain soon to be 11 year old’s birthday.

Yep.  Tebow lovers live here.  I should make a car decal or something.

Unless you’re Peace Corps-ing it in the middle of nowhere, you’ve probably heard about the whole “Tebowing” incident.  I rolled my eyes.  Not at the kids.

And totally loooooved this pinned picture with the caption: Tebowing?

Ever since I was a kid…I liked to go against the flow.  So go on and hve fun with the Tebowing kids…

Cute Tebowers. I have no knowledge of the Tebow incident, but I am sort of in a bubble right now. lol He sounds like a great man. Glad there is a professional player that young Christians can look up to. However, we are HUGE Pats fans. Putting anything in this house with NY on it would last all of 15 seconds. (If even allowed in the door)LOL

Correction: Broncos!! LMBO!! Anything non Pats not allowed ;)

No, I don’t know him personally

I’ve had several emails today asking if I know Mike W. of Marissa’s Bunny personally.    Trevy’s blog was linked on her site.  Although it’s not now.     I’ve posted here and there at his request.  Because…well…we’re a community.  Us IS families.  And Marissa is wicked cute.  Her daddy has a way with words.  Also who wouldn’t want the world to know about an iPad give-away?    But aside from that…I know about as much as you do.    We’ve never met in person.    Our only communication has been cyber.    I’m a ginormous sap and as such would love to believe that all is right.  That the sweet, beautiful families who were promised iPads will be getting them tonight.  Tomorrow at the latest.  That no one has been lied to.  That the personal thank you for your generosity email I sent him on behalf of other IS families I’ve grown to love and was thrilled to learn w...

I was talking about you today

That's right. You. Sitting there glued. To the computer screen. Getting your Trevy fix. You who hasn't been able to tear your eyes away. The one who checks back here gobs of times a day. Hanging on every post. Especially the dripping with drama or funny posts. Because you need to either laugh or cry alternately. Just like me. And somewhere...sometime...somehow...over the course of these past couple years... ...you found yourself here. Reading about me. About my family. About my Trevy. And slowly you were drawn in. Until you couldn't help yourself. You were head over heels. Unashamedly addicted. Maybe we connected in a support forum. Perhaps we're old college friends. I know we have family following. Hi guys! Some teachers and therapists. Maybe even a medical professional or two. Perhaps our kids play ball together. We might be FaceBook friends. Or you could be a friend of a friend. Even a complete stranger. But to us... you each have a very special pla...

I tend to be a live out loud kinda girl. But sometimes... well...sometimes life is just so heavy. So intense. So overwhemling. That it brings out the recluse in me. Like lately. The thing is...I know it'll pass. It always does. And I'll learn something. Grow. Hopefully. Survive. Certainly. Because I have to. It's just right now. In this particular heavy moment. I would much rather run away to some tropical paradise and sip martinis until Jonathan calls to tell me Trevy's back at home. Happy. And seizure free. With a new head of curls covering the scar and bouncing around the house. I am a coward after all. I've never denied that. And I really don't want to live through this next month. Which is probably why my posts will be random. At best.
