I had to run to the doctors first thing this morning. Solo. With ALL three kids!
Why is it that walk-in hours are always insanely early?! I swear someone has a sick sense of humor! They're getting a kick outta watching us make-up-less & frazzled with snotty nosed children in tow. At the break of dawn! Living on yesterday's coffee!
Anyway...
Trevy has been really out of sorts this week. Clingy & cranky. And whacking at his ears. Plus night waking. More than usual. Before IS he slept through the night like a champ...ever since he wakes at least twice a night. Maybe someday a full-nights sleep is waiting for us....
::sigh::
Turns out no ear infection...but lots of gunk blocking the tubes. Dr. Pedi kindly removed all the sticky-ickies from my very uncooperative and super strong 16 month old. And ordered special drops for the next five days. Hope it works! We would love to go back to the land of twice a night wakings!
Bristel wasn't feeling good...but checked out fine.
And I had to drop off a tinkle specimen...to make sure my kidney's have ousted the infection. Although the throbbing in my lower left back has me worried. Ugh!
I'm proud to say...I made it! Just fine!
Now for that pot o' coffee!

what? u're throbbing? woman! i'm glad u dropped off a specimen tho - hope it comes back negative, but it sounds like maybe not? i hate walk-ins too! hope u ALL r feeling better soon!
I am throbbing like crazy! Ugh! I'm afraid it's WORSE than a k-infection! I can call for results in, like, 15 mins. And am I ever counting em' down!

hope everything turns out ok for ya. although the fact that you are still throbbing is a little worrisome for me. glad to hear trevor's ears are ok. we had to end up taking Connor to the ER while we were in ohio...not seizures related, but croup!! I too long for the nights of a peaceful sleep. tee hee!!
Poor Connor! The croup...yuck! I'm not sure what's going on with me...they said the labs came back norm...but my whole lower right side is tender. Sitting hurts...moving hurts...bending hurts...something has to be wrong! Ugh!

Wow! You're amazing! Three kids to the Dr alone? That's usually a disaster waiting to happen. Glad to hear everyone is better than anticipated. Have you ever considered chiropractic care for ears? It works so well....keeps everything open & flowing.
lol..coffee...I don't drink it & often wish I did, my cousin (who is a mother of 4) told me that "coffee makes you a better parent"!:)
