I'm bucketing tears. He loves his Mommy and you can see he is getting so much comfort. It is such a nice feeling to finally be able to cuddle that you never want to let go.
The cuddles are so good! I do hate the little dance to you have to do around all of the wires and tubes. But those cuddle are so worth it for both of you. I just want to reach into the pictures and hug the both of you.
Give him an extra cuddle from us. You can see the love oozing from you guys. The hard part about the photos was not the incision but the amount of emotion that comes from the photos.
Seriously- tons of hugs to all of you guys, I cannot imagine going through what you are, you guys are my heroes.
yes, the pics are kinda hard to see..seeing your little guy like that and all he has been through. what a strong and amazing boy he is!
you can totally see the love you have for trevy, and how much you have missed holding him close to you. the pics captured that love and emotion so well...making us all cry.
love you guys, and sending virtual hugs to you all,

I barely even NOTICED the incision...In fact, I had to scroll back through just to see....
I was too focused on Trevor leaning on you and your precious face....This was the closest I think I have been able to come to REALLY feeling SOME of what you must be going through...All because of the look on your face....
Just beautiful....Thank you....
Wish I could give you all a big, tender hug, myself!!!
I agree...the emotion is what is so moving and hard to see! Getting that last drain out will be so nice for everyone. Love his ever-present binky too, reminds me of my own little guy.
Oh Danielle!!! It did my heart good to see you cuddling Trevy! You looked like you never wanted to let him go...which I'm sure is the case.
I didn't realize that the incision was so big....poor little guy!!! And now I know why your wondering what to do with his hair!!! Oh those curls...I'm so jealous! I wish I had a quarter of his curls!
We are truly marvelous creations! We have added Trevor and your family to our nightly prayer list and will continue to follow your journey. Thank you for sharing the pictures and updates. GO TREVOR!
These pictures were far from graphic!! they absolutely broke my heart. Not b/c of the scar, but b/c of all of the emotion i can sense between the 2 of you. And as a Mom, i can just feel all of the emotions you are feeling in that moment. i'm so glad the 2 of you finally had that moment together. Next time warn of the kleenex factor of the pictures...I actually broke down in public! Give your little monkey a big snuggle for me and his IS brother Connor. xoxoxo
